The Pictou Lobster Carnival

Now in Our 80th year!!

July 11 - 13, 2014

Started in 1934, the Pictou Lobster Carnival has become a signature event in Nova Scotia. This three day festival celebrates the end of the fishing season in the area, Maritime culture and music.

The event features musical entertainment at the Main Stage, a Beer Garden, the Pictou Lobster Carnival Parade, an Antique Car Show, Derby Races, Lobster Boat Races, a Mid-Way, a Children's Parade and many other activities for the whole family.


The countdown is on to the best Carnival ever... and we're already making memories!!

Main Stage and Hinchey Rides - Advance Tickets

These passes can be purchased now at: East End Grocery, Sears Portside Outlet, Pictou Pharmasave, Fulmore's Pharmacy, Sharon's Place, Pictou town office, Video Nook, East Coast FM, Woody's Convenience, Millside General Store and the Lobster Carnival office in the CN Station.

The Hinchey Rides and Amusements bracelets are $25. They can be purchased every day during the Carnival at the fair site.
