On Sunday we will feature two premiere East Coast Canadian headliners to close out the weekend, first with a reunion of the Moon Minglewood Band! Sam Moon and Matt Minglewood formed their first band together back in 1969, and they have shared the stage countless more times over the years, and they will join forces again in 2023 for Pictou Lobster Carnival!

To close out the 2023 Pictou Lobster Carnival will be none other than Lennie Gallant and his band. With songs so profound and hard hitting, Lennie Gallant was awarded the Order of Canada, and he boasts a dozen albums to his credit with some of the best known songs in Canadian folk music history including Peter’s Dream and Which Way Does the River Run. Those are just two of which combine with a huge catalog of powerful and memorable songs that continues to grow.
